Spring of 2010 my husband Stan, his brother Mac and wife Joanne and I found ourselves at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center in Old Town San Diego. This newly built visitors center has a southwestern design, interactive historical tour, beautiful fountains, and a "Search for Your Mormon Battalian Ancestor" computer station. We took advantage of all its resources to learn about our ancestor John Greenleaf Holman.
